GESSEL has built up considerable experience in the field of arbitration proceedings before institutional tribunals such as the Arbitration Court of the Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan or the Arbitration Court of the National Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw as well as before ad hoc panels appointed in accordance with the Polish Civil Procedure Code and the UNCITRAL rules.
Our firm’s arbitration department is led by Dr Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz, managing partner, since 2005 arbitrator of the Arbitration Court of the Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan, of which she is also the Chairwoman. Dr Gessel is also a member of ArbitralWomen and of the Polish Arbitration Association.
